Modular Sandwich Panel Manufacturer

Modular Sandwich Panels, Prefabricated To Your Drawings

Direct Manufacturer

Prefabricated sandwich panels, built to your specification

A sandwich panel is a prefabricated wall or ceiling panel built from two sealed facing sheets bonded to an insulating or structural core. The flush, gasket-sealed surfaces resist particle accumulation and withstand repeated chemical washdown, which is why modular panel systems replace site-built construction in controlled environments, industrial partition walls and lightweight architectural build-outs.

Moddulx manufactures these panels on our own line in Ontario, Canada, in three core constructions and in both self-supporting and progressive wall systems. Every run is cut to your drawings, with cutouts, joints and trims detailed before production, and shipped site-ready to contractors and engineering firms across the United States and Canada.

Wall System Types

Self-supporting or progressive, specified to how your room is built

The right modular wall system depends on span, ceiling load and how often you need service access behind the panel line. Moddulx supplies both, and our team will recommend the configuration that suits your drawings.

System A

Self-supporting panel systems

Lightweight structural panels that carry their own load and span full room heights without a secondary steel frame. The panel line becomes the structure, which frees floor area, reduces steelwork cost and speeds the build sequence on site.

  • Spans full room height with no supporting frame
  • High strength-to-weight ratio supports walkable ceiling loads
  • Fewer trades on site and a shorter build sequence
  • Suited to new builds and large open spans
System B

Progressive and demountable wall systems

Panels that install and remove individually from either side without disturbing adjacent panels. Progressive and demountable partitions are specified where services run behind the wall line and where future reconfiguration or validation access is a requirement.

  • Individual panels removable from either face
  • Acoustic and fire-rated cores available in the same system
  • Flush modular wall joints with no exposed fixings
  • Service and utility access without wall demolition
  • Rooms can be reconfigured as processes change
Panel Cores

Three sandwich panel cores, every modular panel spec your project needs

Moddulx manufactures prefabricated modular wall, ceiling and partition panels in three core constructions: aluminum honeycomb, EPS insulated and Rockwool fire-rated. Each system is built to your drawings and supplied site-ready to controlled environment, laboratory, acoustic and industrial projects across the United States and Canada.

Specifications & Logistics

Modular sandwich panel supply, answered

A sandwich panel is a prefabricated wall or ceiling panel built from two sealed facing sheets bonded to an insulating or structural core. Moddulx manufactures panels in three cores: aluminum honeycomb, EPS insulated and Rockwool fire-rated. The sealed, flush surfaces resist particle accumulation and wash down cleanly, which is why modular panels are the standard wall system for controlled environments, laboratories and industrial partition walls.

Yes. Moddulx supplies both self-supporting and progressive wall systems. Self-supporting panels carry their own structural load and can span full room heights without a secondary steel frame. Progressive and demountable partitions allow individual panels to be removed from either side for service access without disturbing adjacent panels. We will recommend the right system based on your span, ceiling load and service access requirements.

We manufacture three sandwich panel cores: Aluminum Honeycomb, EPS Insulated and Rockwool Fire-Rated. All are prefabricated to tailor-made configurations for your project's walls, ceilings and partition spans, in both self-supporting and progressive wall systems.

Yes. The same three cores are specified well beyond controlled environments. Aluminum honeycomb serves lightweight structural and architectural panel applications where flatness and strength-to-weight matter. Rockwool fire-rated panels are used for industrial partition wall systems, acoustic enclosures and fire-compartment walls. EPS insulated panels suit cold rooms, dry rooms and temperature-critical production spaces. Core, thickness and finish are selected for the application in each case.

Yes. Rockwool fire-rated panels are our acoustic specification. The dense mineral wool core absorbs airborne noise and dampens vibration, so the same panel delivers both a fire rating and sound attenuation in one assembly. These acoustic composite panels are specified for sound-rated partitions, server and plant room enclosures, corridors and high-noise process areas. Panel thickness and facing material are selected to suit the acoustic performance your drawings call for.

Our panel constructions are tested to ASTM standards for fire spread and structural performance, with fire-rated assemblies UL-listed by Underwriters Laboratories. Panel systems support ISO 14644-1 cleanroom classification and GMP compliance. Moddulx is also certified by the Ontario Made program, with every panel manufactured in Ontario, Canada.

Moddulx is a direct manufacturer. Every sandwich panel is produced on our own line, with no distributor markup and full chain of custody from raw material to site delivery. We supply contractors, fabricators and engineering firms across the US and Canada with complete panel specification documentation.

Our panels are specified for pharmaceutical facilities, biotechnology laboratories, semiconductor fabrication, EV battery dry rooms, data centres and server rooms, hospital and surgical suites, food processing plants, environmental testing chambers and industrial partition builds. The panel core and finish are selected to suit the environment in each case.

Modular wall panel cost depends on core type, panel thickness, facing material, finish and total square footage, as well as whether the system is self-supporting or progressive. Because we manufacture direct without distributors, our pricing removes a layer of markup. Send us your drawings and we return a full itemised quote within one business day.

Standard volumes ship in 2 to 4 weeks from spec approval. Larger turnkey projects are scheduled around your construction programme, so talk to our team early for tight build schedules.

Yes. Every order is prefabricated to your drawings. Profiles, sizes, cores, thicknesses and finishes are built to your exact specification and shipped site-ready, including cutouts for doors, windows, pass-throughs and service penetrations.
